Our practice specializes in the treatment of OCD and related disorders, which make up the majority of our caseload (approximately 70–80%). We have treated a substantial number of individuals with OCD across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, and caregiver support, with a strong emphasis on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We also treat co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, and autism spectrum disorders, integrating evidence-based approaches to ensure comprehensive, effective care tailored to each client.
I provide individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s needs, with a primary focus on what is most distressing and/or impairing functioning. For clients with co-occurring conditions, I prioritize symptoms that present the greatest clinical risk or interfere most with daily life, while integrating treatment approaches that address overlapping concerns. My work often combines Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with skills from the Unified Protocol to support emotional regulation, reduce avoidance, and build flexibility. Treatment is structured yet adaptable, ensuring care remains both clinically effective and responsive to the client’s evolving needs.
I have over 13 years of clinical experience, with the past 6+ years specializing in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. I have completed the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the International OCD Foundation, an intensive program focused on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My training also includes ongoing consultation and advanced learning in evidence-based treatments for OCD and co-occurring conditions. I routinely integrate ERP with transdiagnostic approaches, such as the Unified Protocol, to provide effective, developmentally appropriate care across the lifespan.
As a Hispanic clinician, I value culturally responsive care and strive to provide an inclusive, affirming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds. While I am not Spanish-speaking, I am mindful of cultural factors that may influence how OCD and related conditions are experienced, expressed, and treated. I have experience working with individuals from a variety of cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I prioritize cultural humility, collaboration, and ongoing learning to ensure care is respectful and responsive to each client’s unique identity and needs.
My training includes graduate-level coursework and clinical experience focused on culturally responsive care, as well as ongoing continuing education related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients from diverse cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including those with intersecting identities. I approach treatment with cultural humility, recognizing the impact of culture on symptom presentation, help-seeking, and treatment engagement. I strive to create a collaborative, respectful environment and adapt evidence-based interventions, such as ERP, to align with each client’s values, beliefs, and lived experiences.
