I have integrated my nursing degree with my counseling degree to provide services in a private practice setting in the West Michigan area, with the goal of providing community education and awareness on OCD and the appropriate OCD treatment and support. My client base consists mainly of those struggling with scrupulosity (excessive religious/moral guilt), health anxiety, and general anxiety/OCD behaviors.

With my medical background, I have been treating clients with Health Anxiety/OCD behaviors for 3-5 years. I received intensive training in July of 2016 through the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for Exposure and Ritual Prevention for OCD with Edna Foa and Elna Yadin. I also participate in ongoing consulting with an internationally known expert in OCD treatment and a clinical faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania.
