A significant portion of my practice focuses on working with adults and older teens experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, and related concerns. I have treated individuals with contamination, harm, relationship, perfectionism, health, and existential OCD presentations, as well as body-focused repetitive behaviors and co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Treatment is evidence-based and individualized, primarily using CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while integrating supportive approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I provide both in-person therapy in the Portland/Lake Oswego area and telehealth services throughout Oregon.
I treat OCD alongside commonly co-occurring concerns including anxiety, ADHD, depression, phobias, and life transitions. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, primarily using CBT and ERP while integrating supportive strategies for emotional regulation, executive functioning, and values-based work when helpful. I work collaboratively to help clients understand how symptoms interact, reduce avoidance and compulsions, and build practical tools that support meaningful change in daily life.
A significant portion of my practice focuses on working with adults and older teens experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, and related concerns. I was trained at a private practice specializing in the treatment of OCD and use evidence-based approaches including CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I have experience treating a range of OCD presentations as well as co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, depression, and body-focused repetitive behaviors. In addition to clinical work, I taught Master’s level college-level psychology and research courses for 10 years, which continues to inform my thoughtful, research-informed approach to treatment.
I have experience working with diverse populations across clinical, academic, and community settings. In Chicago, I provided counseling services within private practice settings, consulted with an international school, and worked with foster families through in-home therapy services. While teaching and lecturing at the University of Hawaiʻi, I also provided therapy services to Ph.D. students. Additionally, I worked as an executive function coach supporting students, families, and working professionals. In my current private practice, I continue to work with clients from a wide range of cultural, professional, and personal backgrounds.
My clinical and academic experience has included ongoing work with diverse populations across private practice, university, community mental health, and school-based settings. I have received training related to cultural competency, diversity, and inclusive clinical care throughout my graduate education, teaching roles, and professional practice. My experience includes working with international students, foster families, graduate students, professionals, and clients from varied cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds. These experiences continue to inform my collaborative, respectful, and individualized approach to therapy.
