Narrative of Services:

My practice provides trauma-informed, specialized care for those navigating complex anxiety and OCD. Roughly 35% of my work focuses on OCD and related disorders, where I use evidence-based tools—primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). By blending trauma-focused techniques with specialized care, I help clients gently peel back the layers of their experience. Through this integrative approach, I empower you to build more fulfilling relationships and find clarity while reducing the daily weight of obsessions and compulsions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

For folks navigating OCD, I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). For co occurring disorders, I often integrate somatic parts work and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when it feels helpful. I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Training Description:

I received formal Comprehensive Training in the Assessment & Treatment of OCD utilizing ERP at the Behavioral Wellness Clinic, led by Dr. Monnica Williams and Simone Leavell-Bruce, Psy.D. This specialized education is integrated into a practice built on ongoing consultation with OCD specialists, experiential training, and my own journey with OCD and ERP treatment. This dual perspective helps me walk alongside you with professional expertise and a genuine, personal understanding of what it’s really like to do this work.

Diversity Statement:

I work with adults from diverse backgrounds, identities, and cultures, with a majority of my caseload identifying as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+. I am especially passionate about holding space for Black and Brown women, queer folks of color, and first-generation individuals from marginalized racial backgrounds. My work focuses on how systemic oppression and minority stress intersect with OCD and anxiety. By centering these lived experiences, I ensure that my clinical approach remains a dedicated space for liberation-based healing within the communities I serve.

As a Black and Queer provider, my work is grounded in compassion, connection, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I prioritize a culturally responsive and liberation-based psychology approach, recognizing how identity and systemic factors shape our individual experiences. I care deeply about creating a space where you feel genuinely affirmed, resourced, and supported. My commitment is to foster a therapeutic relationship that is both inclusive and intentional, ensuring that my practice honors your full self throughout our time together.
