Scott Peck PsyD
In private practice, I focus on assessment and treatment of patients with OCD of varying levels of severity. Often, patients also have closely-related issues such as BDD, anxiety disorders, health anxiety disorder, and somatic symptom disorder.
I treat individuals who experience symptoms of anxiety or somatic disorders in addition to OCD, using an integration of ERP, CBT, and ACT.
In addition to externships and residency in which my primary area of interest was OCD, I have received post-doctoral supervision and frequently consult with senior providers. I am an adjunct professor of clinical psychology, and teach doctoral-level courses on integrative approaches to anxiety and OCD.
I work with adults and late adolescents of all ages. Most of my clinical training and much of my practice involve treatment of college students, service members, and males 17+. I frequently treat members of LGBTQ communities at all all ages and stages of identity development.
I have received training in cultural competency, systemic oppression, and implicit bias. I teach doctoral-level courses centered on Ethics with an emphasis on treatment of diverse populations.
