My practice offers individual therapy services specializing in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. Approximately 85% of my caseload consists of individuals seeking treatment for OCD. Over the past four years, I have treated more than 50 individuals experiencing OCD symptoms. I provide evidence-based care using approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and other integrative therapies tailored to each client’s needs.
I treat OCD and co-occurring disorders using an integrative, evidence-based approach. I primarily utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD, while incorporating principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, or emotion regulation difficulties. I assess whether it is clinically appropriate to focus directly on OCD treatment or if stabilization is needed first. When necessary, treatment may include building coping skills, addressing other mental health concerns, or coordinating medication management before engaging fully in ERP or I-CBT.
I have 4 years of experience treating individuals with OCD and related disorders. I completed a three-month ERP training program through NOCD that included formal coursework, examinations, and peer-reviewed clinical audits to ensure competency in delivering Exposure and Response Prevention. I have also received specialized training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) through the OCD Training School. Additionally, I completed Habit Reversal Training through the Cognitive Behavior Institute for body-focused repetitive behaviors such as skin picking and hair pulling, and received training through the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy in the treatment of emetophobia.
I am committed to continually developing my cultural competence and ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Cultural humility and awareness were emphasized throughout my graduate training, including coursework and clinical discussions focused on understanding how culture, identity, and systemic factors influence mental health and treatment. In my clinical work, I actively seek to understand how each client’s cultural background, ethnicity, values, and lived experiences shape their presenting concerns and treatment needs.
