Chandler Puhy PhD
My practice offers Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the gold standard intervention for anxiety and OCD. At times I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other modalities depending on the clinical presentation and co-occurring conditions. My goal is to meet my clients where they are and create unique treatment plans collaboratively.
I completed my doctoral studies at Drexel University where I specialized in Clinical Child Psychology. I have received extensive training in all forms of anxiety (e.g., social, generalized, phobia, panic, separation) and OCD (e.g., harm, scrupulosity, health, contamination) and common co-occurring conditions in individuals across the lifespan. I have had the opportunity to train in numerous settings including hospitals, schools, and specialty clinics. I have also led trainings for lay and clinical audiences on the treatment of anxiety and OCD.
I have had the honor to work with people from all walks of life in my practice. I have received excellent cultural competency training and continue to sharpen my skills through continuing education.
