Narrative of Services:
Adam Reid has carried a caseload of 30-40 clients since completing his post-doctoral OCD training in 2017 and opening his private practice in Massachusetts. His practice is 70% related to OCD and/or OC related disorders. He also co-owned CBTeam from 2018-2025 and, during this experience, supervised the care of 20+ full or part-time clinicians primarily treating OCD and/or Related Disorders across the lifespan. He has led OCD treatment at residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient levels of care.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I treat most comorbid conditions related to OCD, including personality disorders and disorders related to severe mood dysregulation.
Training Description:
Adam Reid received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida in 2016. His OCD-specific training includes doctoral study and clinical training of OCD and emotional dysregulation in children, adolescents, and young adults at UF, postdoctoral fellowship at the McLean Hospital OCD Institute (Junior) and the 3 East Partial Hospitalization Program. He is a frequent attendee and presenter at the International OCD Foundation annual conference, in addition to ADAA and ABCT. To date, Dr. Reid has authored 31 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 10 book chapters focused on improving treatment and access to care for OCD.
Diversity Statement:
As a part of Adam Reid’s graduate training at the University of Florida and Harvard Medical School, he received training and supervised consultation on the treatment of OCD in a culturally competent manner and worked with diverse populations. Adam has traveled abroad to lead culturally-sensitive ERP trainings and he treats many international clients, including those from the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Adam Reid is most skilled in navigating the nuance of OCD manifests within various religions.
