Erin Reid PhD

Dr. Reid primarily treats OCD and anxiety disorders using a family-based approach to treatment. She sees families in person and via telehealth. She works with all ages of children, from preschoolers to teenagers.
Dr. Reid provides exposure and response prevention (ERP) to children (preschoolers through teenagers) with OCD and anxiety disorders. Although not the focus of treatment, Dr. Reid often works with youth who have co-occurring concerns, such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavior difficulties, mood disorders, OCD spectrum disorders, and sensory sensitivities.
Dr. Reid specialized in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders during her internship and postdoctoral training with the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Program at Texas Children’s Hospital. She continues to deliver evidence-based services to children and adolescents with OCD and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Reid completed her doctoral training and postdoctoral fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX, where she worked with children and families with rich multicultural diversity. This included diversity with regards to language, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, immigration status, and disabiity status. Dr. Reid is committed to engaging in continued learning about her patients’ cultural backgrounds and values.
