I provide specialized, evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders across British Columbia and Alberta. OCD and OC-related conditions make up over 75% of my practice, and I have treated over 200 individuals with OCD, including complex and co-occurring presentations. Treatment is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), alongside CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches. I also treat co-occurring conditions including ADHD, autism, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). I work within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting and in association with Dr. John H. Taylor, CPBC #1444, a psychologist with over 40 years of experience specializing in OCD.
I treat OCD with co-occurring conditions including ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders, autism, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (trichotillomania and excoriation). Treatment is structured and individualized, with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the core approach, alongside CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness-based strategies. Care targets both OCD symptoms (intrusive thoughts, compulsions, avoidance) and related functional challenges such as executive dysfunction, emotional regulation, and perfectionism. Treatment is collaborative, paced appropriately, and focused on improving daily functioning across home, school, and work.
I have over 7 years of focused experience treating OCD and related disorders. I completed advanced training through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), as well as CBT and ERP training through Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy. My clinical work has been supported through supervision with a senior psychologist specializing in OCD treatment. I also hold additional training in DBT and ADHD. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based therapies, with a focus on treating complex and co-occurring presentations.
I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to a diverse client population across British Columbia and Alberta. I have experience working with clients from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including immigrant and multicultural communities. Cultural awareness is integrated into all aspects of treatment, ensuring care is respectful, relevant, and individualized. I am mindful of how culture, identity, and lived experience can shape the presentation of OCD and related conditions, and I adapt treatment approaches accordingly to support effective and meaningful outcomes.
