Narrative of Services:

My individual practice and research studies are 100% devoted to OCD, Hoarding Disorder, and OC Spectrum Disorders. I have treated over 300 people with OCD or OC Spectrum Disorders. I direct the UC San Diego OCD Clinic, which provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, consultations, medication treatment, and cognitive-behavioral therapy for patients with OCD, Hoarding, BDD, Trichotillomania, Skin-Picking, and related and co-occurring disorders.

Training Description:

I have been treating OCD and OC Spectrum Disorders for the last 21 years. I have been the Director of the UCSD Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders Program for the past 9 years. Prior to that, I directed the UCLA OCD Research Program for 10 years. I am on the Scientific Advisory Board of the IOCDF. My clinical work and research are focused on the treatment and neurobiology of OCD, Hoarding Disorder, BDD, and other OC Spectrum Disorders. I have also been teaching and supervising psychiatry, psychology, and other mental health trainees about OCD and OC Spectrum Disorders for the last 20 years.
