Natosha J. Scheenstra MSW, LICSW, CMHS
Psychotherapist
I have been treating OCD since 2017, and a majority of my clients in my practice have OCD.
Co-occurring disorders treated may include:
Separation Anxiety, Phobias, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Agoraphobia, PTSD, and Depression.
I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other modalities that treat anxiety and OCD disorders.
I value using evidence-based practices as well as staying current on modalities by attending trainings and participating in consultations.
My work in this profession is deeply committed to issues of equity, inclusion, and diversity and it will continue to be an ever-evolving, life-long journey. I have had the opportunity to work with people from respective diverse backgrounds, cultural experiences, across different ages of groups, socio-economic backgrounds, and various walks of life. I value being an advocate to others and helping people navigate systems of oppression.
I value receiving current and up to date training on cultural competency in supporting diverse populations.
