Ta'janette Sconyers PhD

I offer individual therapy for individuals who experience OCD and anxiety of any kind. Approximately 90% of the individuals I work with experience OCD or an anxiety-related disorder.

I received specialized training for the treatment of OCD, anxiety, phobias, panic, etc. from St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute where I worked as a postdoc in their Intensive Outpatient Program. Since becoming a specialist in this area, I have worked with individuals with OCD and anxiety for approximately five years.

I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I invite clients to share their identities and discuss with me if and how they impact their life. Furthermore, I take an affirming approach as my clients are the experts on their own lives and I am here to support their journeys with my broader expertise.

I am a counseling psychologist whose graduate training was infused with information about working with diverse populations. Some of my experiences that reflect my knowledge and passion surrounding diversity include that I have: taught a diversity course, created a diversity initiative, and am currently a Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
