Narrative of Services:

I utilize an integrative framework, helping my clients to build self-compassion, acceptance and mindful curiosity towards OCD symptoms as we tackle anxiety and OCD through ERP treatment. Through this approach, we increase empowerment by naming and identifying unhelpful internal dialogues to reduce entanglement in these painful narratives OCD often contributes to. About 30% of my clients are currently being treated for anxiety/OCD.
I strive to be anti-racist and LGBTQ+ affirming in my approach as a therapist. I work with clients to identify and validate one’s identities and systemic intersections to facilitate empowermen
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels (ADA accessible): No

Training Description:

OCD and anxiety disorders are my specialty. I use a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Responsive Prevention (ERP) to aid my clients in learning to cope with their symptoms and return to a meaningful life. I have been providing ERP treatment to adults and college aged individuals in both medical and college counseling settings for the past 5 years.

Currently, as a staff therapist, I provide individual and group therapy to college aged students at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and am now working in private practice. Previously, I have worked primarily in outpatient mental health settings around Los Angeles with children, adults and older adults. As a clinical social worker at UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in a child IOP/PHP setting, I provided family and group therapy. Additionally, I worked as an individual therapist with adults at AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Hollywood, and later, at LAC+USC hospital providing individual, group and family therapy.
