Stacy Shaup, PhD
Narrative of Services:
Over 95% of Dr. Shaup’s outpatient practice focuses on OCD, anxiety, and OCD spectrum disorders. She utilizes evidence-based treatments, providing CBT and ERP treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Shaup worked at the OCD Resource Center of Florida for 10 years and has treated well over 100 patients with anxiety, OCD, and OCD spectrum disorders. Dr. Shaup is currently a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the American Psychological Association, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the International OCD Foundation, the Trichotillomania Learning Center, and the Florida Psychological Association.
After working at the OCD Resource Center of Florida from 2006-2016, Dr. Shaup opened her own practice in 2016. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. She completed clinical and research practicums at NSU’s Anxiety Treatment Center. From 2004-2005, Dr. Shaup completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Anxiety Disorders Center of St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute. Her supervisor was on the Scientific Advisory Board of the IOCDF and the Clinical Advisory Board of ADAA. At SLBMI, she provided outpatient and intensive treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety and OCD spectrum disorders.
