Narrative of Services:

About 90%+ OCD and comorbidity of other Anxiety Disorders/ED/Depression.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I am the Owner and a Therapist at Self-Empowerment Counseling. I support and treat individuals struggling with OCD and related disorders, ED, MDD, and other anxiety disorders that are co-occurring. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to best fit the individual’s co-occurring struggles/disorders. I use CBT, ERP, BA, DBT Skills, ACT, and HRT. In addition to providing services via telehealth I also work with individuals and families in their home or engaging in offsite exposures in Chicago and surrounding area.

Training Description:

I am a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) and Licensed Professional Counselor supporting patients in FL, IL, KY, OK, and TN. I have been working with clients virtually since March 2020. I have completed over 5,500 supervised hours working with patients struggling with OCD and its related disorders, generalized anxiety, depression, and eating disorders in the PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) levels of care.

I attend annual IOCDF Conferences and volunteer at the IOCD Kids Camp. I am also an active member of the OCD Midwest Chapter, an affiliate of IOCDF.
