Narrative of Services:

Dr. Solomon provides services through her virtual office using secure video conferencing. Approximately 90-100% of her practice is focused on assessment/treatment of OCD, Anxiety, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, Tic Disorders, and co-occurring issues such as perfectionism, executive dysfunction, and social skills difficulties. She has provided services for over 700 individuals with OCD or related disorders. Dr. Solomon’s primary orientation is Cognitive Behavioral. She uses CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), SPACE, and Habit Reversal/COMB for individuals aged 2yrs-60yrs old. She uses a collaborative approach, involving parents/family and other professionals.

Training Description:

Dr. Solomon specializes in evidence-based treatment and has spent the past 20 years treating anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. She obtained her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Pepperdine University and received advanced specialty training from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, and the USC School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and has obtained additional clinical training from the IOCDF BTTI, the IOCDF BTTI Advanced Forum, Trichotillomania Learning Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy. She is also trained in SPACE for child anxiety/OCD.
