Narrative of Services:

Anxiety & OCD Treatment Services is a specialty group practice dedicated to the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions. OCD and anxiety-related disorders comprise the entirety of our practice. Our clinicians provide evidence-based treatment, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to children, adolescents, and adults. We offer both in-person and telehealth services across Iowa and other states.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Our specialties include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD); health anxiety and illness anxiety; panic attacks, panic disorder, and agoraphobia; generalized anxiety disorder and excessive worry; social anxiety disorder; phobias (such as emetophobia); perfectionism; separation anxiety; hair-pulling (trichotillomania) and skin-picking (dermatillomania).

Training Description:

Dr. Stevens is a licensed psychologist and owner/director of Anxiety & OCD Treatment Services. She has specialized in treating OCD and anxiety disorders throughout her career and has extensive experience providing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. She regularly participates in advanced continuing education and consultation focused on OCD and related disorders and is an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). She also serves as Vice President of OCD Iowa, th1e Iowa affiliate of the IOCDF.

We offer a 6-week Parenting Anxious Kids workshop based on the evidence-based Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) program. Parents learn practical strategies to reduce accommodation of anxiety and support their child’s resilience and independence. Appropriate for parents of children and adolescents with anxiety and OCD.
