Michael Stier, LCPC, LPC, NCC, is the Director of Education and Training specializing in OCD, health anxiety, and anxiety disorders. He utilizes evidence-based ERP and ACT, integrated with mindfulness, through an innovative telehealth practice. Michael co-authored The Complete Guide to Overcoming Health Anxiety and is a frequent IOCDF presenter and clinical consultant. His expertise includes “Pure O” subtypes and medical phobias. Based near St. Louis, Michael provides expert clinical care, leads professional seminars, and consults on the assessment and treatment of complex anxiety-based disorders.

Training Description:

Michael Stier, MA, LCPC, LPC, NCC, is the Director of Education and Training at Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta. Specializing in OCD since 2013, he completed the IOCDF Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in 2018. Licensed in Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia, Michael managed a specialized OCD private practice for several years before joining his current group. He co-authored The Complete Guide to Overcoming Health Anxiety (2023) and serves on the IOCDF’s BTTI Training Faculty. His experience includes providing clinical consultation and training professionals in evidence-based protocols for OCD and related spectrum disorders.
