Shylo primarily works with individuals with OCD, autism, and mood disorders.
Shylo enjoys working with individuals ages 14 and up who experience OCD, autism, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, higher needs parenting and trauma. Shylo’s therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, integrated with methodologies including ERP, ICBT, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, strength based, and Polyvagal theory. Shylo utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) an evidence based therapeutic intervention to combat OCD symptoms. Shylo is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Informed (ASDI) therapist and enjoys working with individuals with autism to explore identity, emphasize strengths, improve executive functioning, and build emotional regulation.
Shylo has worked with the autism community for over 13 years and individuals who struggle with OCD for 4 years.
Shylo has two children with Autism, one with chronic medical health needs and understands navigating complex systems to locate services for higher needs children.
