Narrative of Services:

I provide virtual psychotherapy to adults (18+) located in New Jersey and North Carolina. Approximately 60% of my current clinical work consists of individuals with OCD or related concerns. I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, and perfectionism using ERP integrated with other evidence-based approaches when appropriate. I particularly enjoy working with thoughtful, goal-oriented adults whose OCD, high expectations for themselves, or chronic anxiety keeps them stuck in cycles of overthinking, overcontrol, and self-doubt.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Many of my clients with OCD also experience ADHD, generalized anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overcontrol, or BDD/body image issues. Treatment is individualized and typically centers on ERP while integrating CBT, DBT/RO-DBT, and mindfulness-based strategies to address co-occurring concerns when clinically indicated. When ADHD or other conditions affect treatment (e.g., executive functioning, emotion regulation, or organization), we adapt the structure of therapy while maintaining a clear focus on OCD treatment and helping clients build flexibility, confidence, and lasting progress. Many clients also ultimately engage in deeper therapeutic work with me to explore and affirm neurodivergent identity once they feel more empowered to manage OCD.

Training Description:

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of behavioral health experience and specialized training in ERP through the Cognitive Behavior Institute (CBI). I have treated individuals with OCD across school-based and private practice settings. I have further training in DBT from Behavioral Tech, RO-DBT from the Radically Open Institute, and Extended CBT for Eating Disorders from the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO).

Diversity Statement:

I work with adults of diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender, sexual orientation, and neurodivergent identities. I strive to provide affirming, culturally responsive care by recognizing how identity, family systems, lived experiences, and cultural values influence the experiences end treatment of OCD, anxiety, and related difficulties. Therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in respect for each client’s unique strengths, values, and goals.

My training as a clinical social worker emphasizes cultural humility, self-reflection, and adapting evidence-based treatment to each client’s culture and lived experience. Throughout my career, I have worked across schools, community-based programs, and private practice with individuals from a. wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I remain committed to ongoing education and consultation to continue strengthening my cultural responsiveness and providing affirming, individualized care.
