I have been practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for years now. Part of my professional training includes having completed a postdoctoral clinical residency/fellowship in an OCD specialty clinic as well as taking the Primary and Advance Certificate Practicum Training in Rational-Emotive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York city. I have also attended and presented in some of the Annual IOCDF Conferences.
I was born and raised in South America, Spanish being my native language. Then came to the US where I completed my undergraduate and graduate education. Through the years, living in South Florida, I have worked with people from multiple backgrounds, including different nationalities, biracial or multiracial; diverse spiritual/religious beliefs, and have offered treatment to English and Spanish speakers.
