We have treated over a thousand patients with obsessions, compulsions, tics, autism (ASD)/developmental delay, and PANS/PANDAS and related neuroinflammatory conditions successfully utilizing a multi-modal biochemical and psychological approach. As indicated, we incorporate additional testing including functional medicine and utilize Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neurofeedback, and EEG “brain mapping” for personalized and effective treatment.

Our group has a combined 28,000 hours treating multiple psychiatric disorders, primarily OCD Spectrum and anxiety related. We have extensive and unique experience particularly with the medical/psychiatric interface, have published dozens of articles and book chapters on topics ranging from functional medicine to pharmacologic management of anxiety in autism, and are utilizing leading edge treatments in the care of our patients. Dr. Thorkelson has sat on the board of directors of numerous psychiatric organizations and continues to lecture internationally.
