Noah Tile RP
My private practice is centered around OCD and ADHD treatment. The core of treatment is utilizing cognitive therapy (CT) exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy to help clients find move away from compulsions, excessive rumination and avoidance.
I also teach mental health skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients with emotion regulation and relationship effectiveness. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) allows me to work with clients in a way that is alignment with their values and goals.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I treat OCD and ADHD in conjunction with each other.
I have received my mental health training and supervision within clinical institutions at the University of Toronto, Baycrest Hospital and the Center for Addiction in Mental Health (CAMH), which started in 2017.
I began working with OCD in particular in 2019, although my interest in OCD started in 2016, while running peer support groups for those struggling with OCD and their families for the Mood Disorders Association of Ontario (MDAO).
Our groups received consultation and support from the Frederik Thompson Center for Anxiety Disorders.
I have since done extensive OCD training, supervision and consultation to sharpen my clinical skills.
I am a Rabbi, in addition to being a Psychotherapist and provide support for the mental health needs of the Jewish population.
I also work with people of many different faith backgrounds, integrating meaning and spirituality into traditional, evidence based OCD treatments.
