Narrative of Services:
At T-CATT (The Center for Assessment and Transdiagnostic Treatment), Dr. Tonarely-Busto provides evidence-based therapy and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Approximately 60–70% of her therapy caseload involves individuals with OCD or related disorders, including body-focused repetitive behaviors and tics. Dr. Tonarely-Busto is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and transdiagnostic approaches such as the Unified Protocol. She has treated hundreds of individuals with OCD across outpatient settings. Dr. Tonarely-Busto also provides comprehensive evaluations to assess cognitive and learning profiles of individuals with and without OCD.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Our transdiagnostic approach, which incorporates aspects of several evidence-based approaches to emotional concerns (i.e., CBT, mindfulness) allows us to address a wide range of mental health concerns using evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Training Description:
Dr. Tonarely-Busto has treated individuals with OCD and related disorders for 10 years during graduate school, internship, and post-doctoral training. Dr. Tonarely-Busto specializes in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, and related disorders. She has extensive training in the use of CBT with ERP, as well the transdiagnostic treatment of these concerns (Unified Protocol). She was trained at the University of Miami’s Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program, which specializes in the research and treatment of childhood OCD, mood, and anxiety disorders. She now works in private practice.
