Narrative of Services:

Amanda specializes in OCD and over 50% of her caseload is working with individuals who have OCD. Amanda co-created and ran a program for adolescents with OCD/anxiety disorders at Compass Health Center and has worked with hundreds of individuals with OCD over the span of her career.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Amanda has extensive knowledge in utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for the treatment of OCD and complex anxiety. Amanda’s approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and direct. She tailors interventions to meet the needs of the client and utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Training Description:

Amanda has worked with individuals with OCD for 7 years in group and individual settings. Amanda has completed exposure therapy training through her previous job at Compass Health Center as well as a training course through PESI: “CBT for Anxiety: Transformative Skills and Strategies for the Treatment of GAD, Panic Disorder, OCD, and Social Anxiety.”

Amanda has completed multiple CEUs/trainings on cultural competency such as “Understanding ourselves and each other”, “Supporting client access to gender affirming medical care”, and a two part training “Diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.”
