Brooke Van Oosbree PsyD
Around 20% of my clients at any given time have a diagnosis of OCD or an OC related disorder. Most others have anxiety related disorders or permpartum/parenting concerns.
I treat co-occurring Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. I am Neurodiversity Affirming and can help with diagnostic and self-exploration psychological testing and assessments.
I have experience working with OCD/OC Spectrum clients for over 10 years. I was supervised and mentored by specialists in ERP and ACT for OCD during both pre- and post-doctoral training. I pursue continuing education opportunities regularly to keep up with current research and maintain best practices.
I strive to maintain a safe and inclusive space in my practice. I am a queer and queer-affirming therapist. About 2/3 of the folks I see identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, or both. I work with folks of various religious faiths, various political affiliations, folks with disabilities, and neurodivergent folks.
Much of my early training was based in feminist and multicultural theories, which put a strong emphasis on social justice, awareness, and cultural humility as central to therapeutic work. I engage in weekly consultation group centered around providing affirming and inclusive care.
