Narrative of Services:

I work collaboratively with clients to understand how obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors affect their lives. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we identify unhelpful patterns and practice new ways of responding to anxiety and uncertainty. Together, we build skills to reduce compulsions, manage intrusive thoughts, and regain a sense of control. My goal is to help clients find relief, confidence, and freedom.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I take a collaborative, compassionate approach that meets you where you are. I’ll spend time getting to know your story and how you see yourself, others and the world. Finally, we’ll decide together what kind of treatment feels right for you. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can start to rebuild trust in yourself and move toward the life you want.

Training Description:

I have worked in with exposure therapy for over a decade related to anxiety disorders and PTSD. I was trained in ERP in 2024 and have treated multiple clients effectively since that tie.

Diversity Statement:

My practice works with a culturally diverse client base, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities. I strive to deliver culturally informed OCD treatment by deeply understanding each client’s background, beliefs, and barriers to care. My approach integrates culturally sensitive communication, collaborative treatment planning, and an emphasis on honoring clients’ values.

Having lived in PA, CA, MS, and LA, I’ve worked closely with communities across varied cultural, regional, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I teach a psychology of gender course, am trained in sex education, and am a committed LGBTQ+ ally. These experiences ground my culturally responsive, inclusive therapeutic practice.
