Narrative of Services:

We are a specialist practice dedicated to offering expert ERP for OCD and related anxiety disorders with a personalized, high-touch continuum of care. Services are designed to support you at every stage of OCD recovery: comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of OCD and co-occurring conditions, individual ERP therapy, group and individual ERP skills training, real-time phone coaching, sessions for family members and loved ones, ERP graduate maintenance group, and professional supervision and consultation in ERP and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I am a Certified ERP Therapist and DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™. Specializations in both ERP and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) equip me to effectively treat individuals and families with pervasive emotional and behavioral dysregulation, including those who have struggled to find effective treatment elsewhere. Treatment begins with assessing behaviors in the way of building a life worth living. ERP and DBT involve formal and informal exposures to counteract patterns of avoidance. Clients learn skills for mindfulness, impulse control and distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I offer phone coaching for effective skills use in the moment.

Training Description:

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I completed intensive training in ERP at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania. After years of expert consultation with a Director of the Center, I was awarded recognition as a Certified ERP therapist by the CTSA at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout my career, I have helped lead teams delivering ERP and DBT in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. I have developed expertise in delivering ERP as a Stage 2 intervention in comprehensive DBT.
