Narrative of Services:

I offer Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) work integrated from an existential person-centered lens. At any given time, 25-45% of my clients are individuals with OCD. Having worked with clients who experience OCD for nearly 5 years, I really couldn’t say the total number–maybe around 50?

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat anxiety; depression and grief; trauma and abuse; religious and spiritual crisis, trauma, and deconstruction; worldview consolidation and value conflicts; substance use and addiction; and relationship dynamics.

Training Description:

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #22622) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #10006435). Beyond my master’s degree in counselling psychology, I have extensive training as an existential therapist, specifically in Existential Analysis.

I began working with OCD after having received training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and working virtually at NOCD. From there, I have continued working with OCD for the last 4 years in private practice. My work has led me to successfully integrating an existential lens with ERP and I have loved working with OCD!

Diversity Statement:

Approximately 50% of my clients belong to various demographic groups which experience a marginalized sexual and/or racial identity here in North America; and I am firmly dedicated to providing a safe space for all my clients

My training in Existential Analysis has greatly enhanced my cultural competency by emphasizing a phenomenological and dialogical approach to understanding human experience. EA trains practitioners to suspend assumptions, remain open to each person’s worldview, and recognize how culture, identity, and social context shape meaning. This approach has helped me cultivate cultural humility and sensitivity to issues of power, belonging, and marginalization in therapeutic work, allowing me to meet each client as a unique individual situated within a broader cultural and historical landscape.
