Nona Zamiri LMHC
Nona Zamiri is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and depression. OCD related disorders include body-focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania (hair pulling), and excoriation disorder (skin-picking). Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, social anxiety, and panic disorder. She treats both adolescents and adults.

Nona received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida with a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. Nona’s practicum and registered internship were completed at UF Health’s College of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Division of Psychology where she provided services to individuals in inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinic settings. Within UF Health’s OCD specialty clinic, Nona successfully provided outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy (IOP) for patients who were experiencing mild to severe OCD and related disorders.
