Dr. Zweig specializes in providing personalized, collaborative cognitive-behavioral therapy for a variety of conditions. Along with her team of expert therapists at Union Square Cognitive Therapy, she treats eating disorders, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, body image disturbances, OCD, Excoriation Disorder (skin picking), and Trichotillomania (hair pulling). We work both in-person in NYC and via a secure telehealth video service.
In addition to treating OCD and other anxiety disorders, Dr. Zweig and her team also treat primary or co-occuring depression, perfectionism, body image disturbances, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, ADHD, and panic disorder in adults, adolescents, and children.
Dr. Zweig is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Cognitive Therapist, and a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist. Dr. Zweig graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Yale University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship at the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy. Prior to establishing Union Square Cognitive Therapy in 2010, she developed and directed the Eating Disorders Program at the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy. She co-authored Treatment Plans and Interventions for Bulimia and Binge-Eating Disorder.
