ASOA Parent/Caregiver OCD Group
Join us for this free, monthly support group providing community, support and healing, as you and your family support and care for children with OCD.
WHO: Adults anywhere in the U.S. who serve as a parent or caregiver to a child, teen, or young adult who struggles with OCD
Groups will meet via secure zoom link.
Please note: This is not a treatment group, it’s a support group. We will not be assessing or diagnosing family members, and the expectation is that the family member in question has been diagnosed with and/or is being treated for OCD or Health anxiety. We will be discussing the do’s and don’ts of supporting a loved one with OCD or health anxiety. We will discuss family accommodations, treatment considerations, and self-care in the process. Group members will offer support, compassion, and encouragement to others in the group.
CONTACT: Hailee Dear, LCSW will lead these groups. If you have any questions, contact Hailee at firstname.lastname@example.org
When: The 3rd Monday of each month from 8-915pm EST.
