This is a support group for people who have OCD, OCPD and/ or Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder. Immersive Daydreamers, like myself, are also wellcomed! ?. Mainly, English-language and Spanish-language. But all languages are allowed!

Those mental illnesses traps us and takes away everything: our work, our dreams; and also takes us away from our family and friends. It plunges us into great sadness that often ends in depression.
The worst part is that we are invisible, as we all hide our symptoms.
Unfortunately, many people feel very lonely and have no one to talk to about these “invisible” diseases.

This group was created for those who feel like sharing their experiences, their fears, their obsessive or depressive thoughts, and also their longings in life and their dreams.

In this group, people are looking for support dealing with MDD. There are lots of benefits to daydreaming, MD is the negative parts that come when Daydreaming becomes an overwhelming addiction or source of mental pain. This group is about stopping the maladaptive part and having controlled healthy daydreams. Please keep the two separated. When posting about positive aspects use the term DAYDREAMING, the negative aspects use the term MALADAPTIVE DAYDREAMING.

We are a support group for those struggling to control his/her disorder. In this group, each of us is an unique and valuable person. So, be supportive and kind. You can publish in Spanish, if you prefer. All idioms are allowed!

I am Natalia, creator of this group, I have OCD, OPCD and I am an Immersive Daydreamer. I’m ENTP, but I really identify with INFJs.
It took me 42 years to ask for help, and now I’m below psychotherapy and psychiatric treatment. If you want to share your feelings and thoughts with us, in an atmosphere of respect and peer support, you will be very wellcome!
