Meeting day and time: First and Third Tuesday
Open To: Adults with OCD

Description:

Modelled after the GOAL support group developed by Jonathan Grayson, Ph.D. and Gayle Frankel, the group gives participants the opportunity to discuss topics relevant to OCD and its treatment, as well as support each other to set achievable behavioural goals that will help with gaining better control over one’s OCD. Finally, the group will allow participants to connect with others living with OCD in the aim of fostering a safe and supportive community.

The GOAL group is a peer-led and professional-assisted group, meaning that the group is co-facilitated by members with lived experience and a mental health clinician. It runs 3 times per month, the other session occurring in-person in downtown Ottawa.

If you are interested in joining the OCD GOAL support group, please get in touch with us via the registration form on the Anxiety Ottawa website. To confirm your registration and receive the link to join the GOAL group, you must complete the Terms and Conditions that will be emailed to you after filling in the registration form.

The deadline to register is 11 am on the day of the group you wish to attend.

By registering for the Ottawa GOAL group you will be added to the email list, which will provide you the link to join group meetings each week and other GOAL group-related updates.
