Young Adult Group
Description:
The Young Adult Group is a treatment group for adults aged 18-30. This ongoing, weekly group provides a supportive environment to actively learn and practice CBT, I-CBT, DBT, ERP, and other types of exposure therapy, as appropriate. Most adults have several kinds of anxiety including social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and/or OCD. The themes discussed in this group range from managing expectations about adulthood such as disappointment about living with family, job challenges, completing school/college, relationships, and managing mental health challenges as a young adult. The group provides a safe and supportive community by providing time to process events and share feedback, as well as time to work through structured therapy skills.
