We hope you are all getting excited for our 22nd Annual OCD Conference, to be held this year from July 31–August 2, 2015, in Boston, MA! While the Conference is still four months away, we are already hard at work here at the IOCDF office planning for what we hope to be one of our best Conferences yet.
Here is an outline of some important dates to remember in the coming months, including deadlines, hotel information, registration dates, volunteer opportunities, and more!
If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for our Conference News email list at here to make sure that you don’t miss any important announcements as we lead up to the Conference weekend.
Conference Registration
Registration for the Conference will begin on Monday, March 30, 2015. There will be several types of registration based on age and whether or not you are a mental health student/trainee or licensed professional, as well as varying rates based on IOCDF membership.
Like in 2015, you will be able to register for the Conference in three ways: 1) online, using our secure payment module on the Conference website, 2) over the phone, working with IOCDF office staff; or 3) submitting a hard copy of the registration form via fax or mail. Remember to register as soon as you can before prices go up after the Early Bird Deadline! Here are some important registration deadlines to be aware of:
Early Bird Deadline: Monday, June 22, 2015 at 5pm ET
After the Early Bird Deadline has passed, the prices for each type of registration will increase.
Last Day to Register by Mail: Friday, July 10, 2015
Hard-copy registration forms must be postmarked by this day to be accepted.
Last Day to Cancel Registration to Receive a Refund: Friday, July 10, 2015
Cancellations must be made in writing and postmarked by 7/10/15 in order to receive a refund.
Last Day to Pre-Register: Monday, July 27, 2015, at 3pm ET
We will be closing our online and phone pre-registration by this deadline; however, you will still be able to register for the Conference onsite starting on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 12:00pm.
Conference Hotel Rooms
The hotel room block for the 22nd Annual OCD Conference is now open! The 2015 OCD Conference will be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront, located at 425 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210. In order to make reservations at the special discounted rate set aside for Conference attendees, go to our website here. The deadline for booking hotel rooms at the discounted Conference rate is Friday, June 26, 2015; however, we have sold out of rooms at the Conference hotel much earlier than that in recent years, so be sure to book your hotel room sooner rather than later to guarantee your reservation!
Volunteer & Scholarship Opportunities
In an effort to make the Conference more affordable and more accessible for everyone, the IOCDF offers reduced and free registration through our Conference Scholarship and Volunteer programs. Volunteers work as room monitors, assist with registration, or provide general support during the Conference, while scholarships are awarded on a needs-based scale. In 2014, we plan to offer around 30 Volunteer positions and 20 Scholarships. Volunteering at the Conference will provide free registration, while being awarded a Scholarship will provide a reduced-cost registration. Take a look at our Conference website here to find out more information on how to apply to volunteer, and here for more information on how to apply for the scholarship program.
Conference Schedule
The full conference schedule of workshops, support groups, evening activities, and professional trainings will be posted soon on the Conference website here, as well as within the mailed Conference Preview Brochure, which all IOCDF members will receive in the mail soon. If you are not a current IOCDF member and would like to request a copy of the Preview Brochure, please let us know by emailing conference@iocdf.org.
Exhibiting, Advertising, & Sponsorship Opportunities
We are now accepting applications for marketing opportunities at the Conference. If you are interested in exhibiting, advertising, and/or sponsoring the Annual OCD Conference, please visit our Marketing Opportunities page of the Conference website here to view or download the 2015 Prospectus. On this page, you can learn about the various opportunities available, as well as find the applications you need to submit in order to be considered. This is a great way to support the Conference, as well as make sure your organization/clinic is highlighted throughout the OCD community!
Please let us know if you have any questions about any of these dates and deadlines. We are so excited for our 22nd Annual OCD Conference and can’t wait to see you all in Boston this summer!

Hi
Is this conference open to people that have ocd as well?
Thank you
Dee
Yes, Dee. About 1/3 of our attendees are individuals with OCD. We have talks aimed at those with OCD, from children to adults, as well as their family members, in addition to more advanced talks for therapists and clinicians. The schedule will be announced on Monday so you can see what kind of talks await at this year’s conference.
