Narrative of Services:
I specialize in treating OCD and intrusive thoughts, which make up most of my practice. I primarily work with high-functioning adults using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. I have helped many clients with different types of OCD, including relationship OCD, moral OCD, and patterns of rumination and overthinking. I also support anxiety and mood symptoms that often show up alongside OCD. My goal is to help you step out of the OCD cycle, reduce compulsions, and feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your daily life.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
When OCD occurs alongside anxiety, depressive, or trauma-related symptoms, treatment is still centered on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We also look at how these symptoms affect each other and keep the OCD cycle going. Depending on your needs, treatment may include support for reducing rumination, managing emotions, and increasing day-to-day activity. When helpful, trauma-focused work is added in a way that does not interfere with ERP. My structure is flexible and individualized, with the goal of helping you reduce compulsions, feel more stable, and respond differently to intrusive thoughts and distress.
Training Description:
I am trained in evidence-based treatment for OCD, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). I receive ongoing supervision and consultation with an OCD specialist to support my clinical work in this area. My training and experience include working with OCD presentations such as intrusive thoughts, rumination, reassurance-seeking, and relationship OCD. I also have experience supporting co-occurring anxiety and depressive symptoms. I continue to participate in specialized training and consultation to strengthen my clinical skills and stay current with best practices in OCD treatment.
Diversity Statement:
I have training and experience working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds. My practice includes adults across different life stages and lived experiences. I strive to create a collaborative, affirming space where clients feel respected and understood. I practice from a culturally responsive and culturally humble lens, and I consider how systems, identity, and lived experience shape mental health and the way OCD and anxiety present. I continue to engage in ongoing learning and consultation to support my ability to provide inclusive, respectful, and individualized care.
