Nathan Siegel MHC-LP
Narrative of Services:
I help children, adolescents, and adults move past the endless doubts and anxiety of OCD and live their lives with confidence. I work with all OCD sub-types, including “taboo” or violent themes, contamination, checking, and primarily mental themes (“pure O”), among others. I am experienced in using both ERP and Inference-Based CBT (ICBT), an evidence-based treatment that does not require traditional exposures. I work with each client to determine the strategy that is best for them.
Training Description:
I completed my graduate internship with the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety (NECOA), where I received training in ERP. I received training in Inference-Based CBT (ICBT) from some of the first practitioners of this modality in the US. I have been an active member of the IOCDF for several years and have presented workshops for children and adults at the annual conference.
I received my BA from Swarthmore College, and my MA in Mental Health Counseling from The City University of New York. I hold a limited permit and am supervised by Anna Allmann, PhD.
