Inez McDaniel, LPC
Narrative of Services:
Currently, my practice is mainly focused on Anxiety and OCD Spectrum Disorders (about 60 %), including Scrupulosity, Violent/Sexual Obsessions, Emetophobia, Body Dysmorphic Disorder/Body Image Issues, Skin Picking, Thrichotilomania, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, and trauma related issues (80 %); which seems to frequently overlap with Anxiety and OCD. In addition to ERP, I am trained in EMDR (currently working towards certification).
Training Description:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in GA practicing since 2012. I have worked with a variety of mental health issues over the years. My experience with Anxiety and OCD clients started back 2016. I was first trained on ERP in 2018 at the Anxiety and Stress Management Institute. I have recently taken a more intensive training in Anxiety and OCD Spectrum Disorders in 2021 and have been granted the title of Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional. I am a member of IOCDF and LPCA GA.
Diversity Statement:
All ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations welcome.
Aside from taking a formal class in Multicultural issues during my Master’s program, I have taken continued education courses on improving cultural sensitivity, and recently participated in a workshop focused on Microagressions (2020). In addition, I have worked for 5 years in a minority focused Community Mental Health Center, which allowed for an extensive amount of exposure to different cultural backgrounds.
