Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI)

You are eligible to attend a BTTI if:

• You are an independently licensed clinician currently treating individuals with OCD and/or related disorders. (Note: You must have an independent license, meaning you do not require supervision to see clients.)
• You have not already attended a BTTI session. Clinicians can only take either the General BTTI or the Pediatric BTTI, not both. If you work with youth at all in your practice (even if they are not your primary or sole focus), we highly recommend you opt to attend the Pediatric BTTI.

Yes. Continuing education (CE) credits are offered for psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors.  Specific CE information will be provided prior to registration for each event.

The faculty of each BTTI varies for each program and is made up of some of the most experienced and well-respected OCD therapists in North America, many of them being members of the IOCDF's Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board.

The IOCDF is committed to increasing access to OCD and related disorders treatment for underserved communities in the United States. In service of this commitment, we will grant several scholarships per BTTI to therapists who are people of color, who practice therapy in languages other than English, and/or who work with a significant portion of underserved patients (e.g., patients of color, those with public insurance, those of a low socioeconomic status, etc.).

If accepted, scholarship recipients will be able to attend the BTTI for $150, and will receive a free year of professional membership with the IOCDF. Scholarship preference will be granted to therapists who are local to a given training (e.g., scholarships for the Atlanta BTTI will first go to therapists in the Atlanta area, etc.).

The cost of registration is $685 for virtual events, and $785 for in-person events. This fee includes 3 days of in-person training or 5 half days of virtual training, the cost of continuing education (CE) credits, and three follow-up group consultation calls. Higher in person fees help offset location costs and food and beverage offerings. When you register for the BTTI, you are automatically registered for CE credits, if applicable for your discipline. The IOCDF hosts between 11-13 BTTI courses in North America each year, including our General BTTI, Pediatric BTTI, BTTI for Treating OCD in Communities of Color, and BTTI Virtual en Español.
