Narrative of Services:

I am in private practice and have been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. The vast majority of my patients carry a diagnosis of OCD or BDD. I perform ERP, skills training, CBT, and have done home visits. I keep up on the latest evidence-based treatments, and do a great deal of psycho-education with my patients and their families/significant others. I also have expertise in treating eating disorders, ADD, affective illness, and other anxiety based disorders.

Training Description:

My training in the treatment of OCD and OC Related Disorders began in graduate school (1980-1984), and while I was on internship at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA School of Medicine (1984-1985). Early in my career, I received supervision in this area and attended a variety of continuing education workshops. I started a BDD Clinic at McLean Hospital with Katherine Phillips, MD in the late 1980's. The staff of the clinic treated a number of BDD patients and we had ongoing, weekly peer supervision. I continue to treat this population.
